Tukki began with a simple frustration: why should traveling alone mean paying for two?
After years of solo travel, I realized how often experiences were priced for couples and groups, leaving independent travelers paying more for the same access.
One afternoon in Bali, I shared the cost of a pair of beach chairs with another solo traveler. What began as a practical solution eventually became the inspiration for Tukki.
I created Tukki for women who love traveling alone but refuse to let it limit what they can experience.

Not necessarily. Some experiences can be arranged through providers we work with. For others, we’ll first check whether the provider can accept the booking. These listings do not mean tukki has a partnership with the venue. We’ll explain what is possible before you pay anything.
No. Choose your experience and date first. If a potential shared group becomes available, you can optionally tell us about your preferred pace, conversation style, photography and age range. These help us make the experience comfortable, not judge compatibility or guarantee a match. Your age and preferences are never shown to other travelers, and you can skip these questions.
There’s no charge to send a request. We’ll share the available booking terms and payment details before you commit. Sending a request does not reserve a spot.
We’ll let you know and, where possible, offer another date or experience. Matching may remain open until 12 hours before the experience where the provider and payment arrangements allow; some bookings close earlier. You won't be charged simply for submitting a request.
Yes. You can request an experience anywhere in Bali regardless of where you are staying. For private tours, choose your departure city. You can join only travelers departing from that same city, and pickup details are coordinated after a match. Other listings may have different meeting arrangements. Pickup availability, meeting points and any transfer costs are confirmed for each experience before payment; transportation is not guaranteed.
No. Tukki may independently coordinate standard reservations where permitted by local law and the provider's terms, or work directly with a provider. Some listings are for collecting interest only. A listing does not imply a formal partnership, guaranteed availability or authorization to resell restricted inventory.
Your confirmed price will not be increased automatically because another participant cancels. Any cancellation fees are based on the specific terms disclosed before confirmation. For shared-spend experiences, we disclose whether individual tabs or personal spending credits are supported. Additional personal spending is your responsibility; shared billing arrangements are confirmed before payment.
If the provider cancels and cannot deliver a confirmed experience, Tukki will coordinate the applicable refund, including the Tukki service fee for a canceled service paid through Tukki, or offer an optional alternative. Provider-specific cancellation and weather terms are disclosed before payment.
Not necessarily. Private-car tour rates generally cover vehicle service rather than all tickets and on-site charges. Where entrance tickets, guides, parking, port fees or other expenses have not been confirmed, listings clearly label them as additional cash fees pending confirmation. We will share the final provider-approved inclusions and known extra charges before you pay; you can decline the booking.
